The Bugle Boy Foundation has launched a new initiative, called “ Sponsors’ Circle” . This represents a body of fans and supporters providing funds that will allow us to continue to bring artists of the highest level to The Bugle Boy stage. Many artists who have played before have seen their careers take off. They now play larger venues, and earn more money than they can make in the intimate, 80 seat Bugle Boy. Others have yet to play here, but we can add them to our lineup by offering a guaranteed fee.
We’ll continue to present top artists on a regular basis. The Sponsors’ Circle will allow the Foundation to make the necessary artist guarantees. Ticket sales alone can’t always be expected to provide the funds needed, and of course we’re also committed to keeping ticket prices affordable.
In addition, the Foundation guarantees a minimum of $100 to every artist. If, for any reason, a very small audience shows up, the artist gets at least some food and gas money.
To join the Sponsors’ Circle, and to be recognized as a
sponsor of certain underwritten shows, takes a minimum annual donation of $300.
