Below is all the info you should need to promote your Bugle Boy show properly.  You should read carefully.  If you have a separate promoter, it is your responsibility to get the below listing to them.  The Bugle Boy has high expectations for you to promote this show.  We do not book future shows with artists that do not follow through with promotions.
  
FYI- The Bugle Boy is a true listening room with fabulous acoustics.  We do not allow talking during the performances. I say, " Respect for the performer and ticket holder sitting next to you is not an afterthought here at The Bugle Boy.  It is our business model".  We are a point of destination venue and it only helps to let your fan base know that seeing and hearing you perform here is a valuable experience and well worth the drive (60 miles from Austin, 90 miles from Houston, 120 from San Antonio).    Out of towners will often get a B & B and make a night of it.   I have lodging suggestions on my website and it is always important to press for advanced ticket purchases for folks coming from out of town.  

Because The Bugle Boy is a point of destination venue, it is recommended in your marketing  efforts that you incorporate the below material to help generate support and additional interest for your Bugle Boy show:

MINIMAL PROMOTION REQUESTED:
I will need you to send me 5 posters and  1 CD  directly to The Bugle Boy.  If you have handbills, please send a minimum of 20.  I will also need you to email me a 5-10 sentence blurb  and a .jpg that I can post on our website.  Please send no later than 12 weeks prior to your scheduled show.  Note: If you are a returning artist, you do not need to send the CD unless you have a new release that you are promoting.

Most of the world has never heard your music. Most of the world WON'T hear your music, unless you do a good job describing it. It's like a Hollywood screenplay. You not only have to write a great screenplay, but you have to have a great description of it that you can say in 10 seconds or less, in order to catch people's attention. Find a way to describe your music that would catch anyone's attention, AND describe it accurately. No use coming up with a funny description of your music if it doesn't actually describe what you really sound like!

We recommend that you promote your Bugle Boy show  on any Texas radio  program that you are aired on.  Make sure you mention your Bugle Boy show as a great weekend destination in the small Texas town of La Grange.  Folks will drive from Houston, Austin, San Antonio and even Dallas to hear a performance in this room.  Many folks have said, "This is the best listening room in Texas". Overnight accommodations and restaurants are listed on our website.
